Assessments provide tools to increase individual and team awareness along a number of parameters that affect individual and group performance. While not “the truth”, assessments offer data on individual or collective strengths and limitations, and therefore provide guidance in exploring and determining high-leverage areas of focus that will impact performance. We only use instruments that have been well-researched and validated. Once we determine your goals and objectives, we then mutually decide which assessments will be of value.

 Individual Assessments

MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)

The most-widely used personality type instrument used in the world, the MBTI is based in the work of Carl Jung. It provides individuals and teams with information about preferences for how we perceive information, how we make decisions about that information, how we communicate and how we plan. A self-assessment tool that offers a lot of rich information for individual or team development.

LSI (Learning Style Inventory)

Based on David Kolb’s work on the learning cycle, this self-assessment gives you a snapshot of how you prefer to learn, and where you may have a flat spot in the learning cycle that sub-optimizes your performance

PIAV (Personal Interests, Attitudes, and Attitudes)

A self-assessment that looks at deep motivating worldviews and helps you understand where the leverage is for you in your motivating values.

DISC

Another widely used self-assessment instrument that delineates different work and managerial behavioral style based on preference for problem-solving, influencing people, pace and teamwork, and task completion and attention to detail. It is particularly useful for teams.

ECI (Emotional Competence Inventory)

A 360 degree instrument created by Dan Goleman (author of Emotional Intelligence) and the Hay Group that provides feedback on 18 emotional competencies that have been shown to be associated with outstanding performance.

SIE (Survey of Influence Effectiveness)

Another 360-degree instrument that provides rich data on the influence strategies you use most and least appropriately, frequently, and effectively.

 Team and Organizational Assessments

Gallup Q12

Based on the Gallup research on what makes a great workplace, this is a simple but effective assessment that gives a snapshot of how employees perceive and experience the organizational climate.
