We work with organizations to create
alignment between people,
purpose, strategy, and processes to build a performance culture
that achieves business results.
In this area, we offer 3 main services that include Team
Effectiveness Coaching, Strategy-Focused
Development, and Process Improvement
and Facilitation.
We appreciate that in today’s
tough business climate, our clients probably won’t want
to, and can’t afford to spend precious resources on consultants
who hang around forever, so our
philosophy is to build capability into the organizations we serve.

If you're frustrated about the
performance of your teams, you're not alone. Lack of communication,
internal conflict and poor focus are rampant. When your teams
have mastered the art of working together, you can expect
dramatically higher levels of productivity and performance
in a very short time. There is a pressing need to promote the
development of high-performing teams, as most of the work in organizations
today is done in teams.
Many times people find themselves
in work groups that are called teams, without adequate understanding
of the three components of group dynamics that must be addressed
for optimal team performance – task, relationships, and
processes.
Focus
on task is where people typically spend most of their time and
effort, yet research and experience tell us that even a
relatively small investment of time in team development and group
process activities greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness
of time spent accomplishing the task.
We
help you develop a high-performing team. Often, we use
an integrative coaching model that includes individual leadership
coaching and team coaching. We always start
with a data-based assessment of team effectiveness competencies
and needs that allow us to develop
customized interventions that may include executive leadership
coaching, training, real-time team coaching in meetings around
business issues, strategic planning, and design and delivery of
other organizational initiatives.
We work in a number of areas
of focus to enhance team effectiveness. These include:
|
• |
How to understand
and work with a diversity of personal preferences
in key dynamics that impact how your team works together,
such as communication, decision-making, conflict management
and leadership styles |
|
• |
Clarifying
roles & responsibilities |
|
• |
Clarifying
team purpose, vision, and focus
on a shared goal |
|
|
Strategic thinking and planning
skills, so that your team can make
problems disappear or have them not appear in the
first place and get out
of the fire-fighting mode, which often creates more
problems than it solves and wastes precious resources |
| • |
Skill development and
coaching that will reduce and help you manage
conflict, improve decision-making, meeting effectiveness,
communication, and learning & creativity

The most efficient and effective
way to achieve a desired result is through a strategy-focused
development plan that allows you to strategically
define and work with your intention. We offer a nine-step
process that allows our clients to build
a roadmap that moves any project or goal from the idea
stage into operationalization.
Strategy-focused coaching allows
you to define the identity
of what it is you want to create through articulating
your assumptions for success, your vision for success, the core
values and guiding principles that will support decision-making.
When you do this, you have then set the stage for working with
your intention strategically, and translating it into a set
of tactical steps that specifically define
strategic direction, metrics for measuring progress, goals,
and standards for implementation.
Once
you have gone through this process, you will be able to apply
it to any project or aspect of your professional or personal
life to create the results you desire. We can take you
or your team through a strategy-focused development process
in an intensive retreat format or over a period of time.

We
guide individuals, teams, and organizations through change processes.
It is difficult to be both a guide for a project and
a fully participating member in the process and implementation
at the same time. Therefore, it’s helpful to have a coach
consultant who is outside the organization or system and who
can provide an objective perspective, and expertise in designing
and facilitating the change process.
As
experienced facilitators, our role is to focus solely on effectively
guiding you or your team through a change process so
that you are freed up to do your best in accomplishing the desired
results. We partner with leaders and teams to plan, co-design
and facilitate meetings, events, programs, and organizational
change initiatives.
